Monarch®
U.S. PATENT No. 4,698,090 and No. 4,769,221
FOR FOLIAR USE AND DRIP SYSTEMS

11.6 lbs. per gallon @ 68° F

Monarch® is a unique and effective primary plant nutrient designed for foliar application. The recommended use of Monarch® allows growers to supplement their primary nutrient demands. The nutrients in Monarch® quickly penetrate the waxy surface of the leaf and are rapidly absorbed by plant cells. The liquid plant nutrients in Monarch® are highly buffered by organic compounds. When used as recommended, Monarch® may help to prevent leaf and blossom damage normally associated with foliar nutrient application. Monarch® may also be applied through a drip or micro sprinkler system.

Monarch® contains the equivalent of 20% available phosphate, which is important for rapid fruit development. Phosphate is associated with the energy transfer process, photosynthesis, and protein synthesis.
Monarch® also contains 15% available potassium. Virtually all of the key physiological processes depend on potassium because of its functions in the enzymatic catalysts. One of the key roles of potassium is to maintain water relations in the stomata (leaf cells).
One to one and one-half gallons of Monarch® per acre for tree and vine crops, applied just prior to bloom along with appropriate micronutrients, will increase the foliar uptake of both the micronutrients and other nutrients. Another application should follow after fruit set for retention and sizing.
With vegetables, apply one to one and one-half gallons of Monarch® per acre from mid-season to just prior to harvest. Combine Monarch® with potassium nitrate for high potassium use crops.

3.0% Organic Acids derived from leonardite.
MONARCH® contains 3% organic acids extracted from leonardite in a patented formulation. These organics are then complexed with liquid plant nutrients in a patented chemical reaction process.

MONARCH® contains a balance of phosphorus and potassium, which is intended to stimulate early growth, root development and resistance to disease. These nutrients are combined with a small percentage of nitrogen to stimulate uptake, growth, fruit set, and allow for a strong and vigorous plant structure.

MONARCH® is non-phytotoxic when used as directed and is compatible with most commonly used pesticides and fertilizers. Monarch® has a low salt index and can be applied as a foliar or used in drip irrigation systems.

MONARCH® should not be applied to plants that are stressed by high temperature or lack of moisture. Optimum spraying

MONARCH® disperses well in water as follows:
1. Partially fill tank with water and start agitation.
2. Add Monarch® to circulating tank mix.
3. Add other nutrients or pesticides.
4. Fill tank and agitate thoroughly.
MONARCH® can be applied to most vegetable crops, field crops, row crops, deciduous fruit and nut trees, grapes, olives and citrus. Timing and rate of application for each crop is critical for best results.

FOLIAR APPLICATION RATES

FIELD CROPS, ROW CROPS DECIDUOUS FRUIT AND NUT TREES, GRAPES, OLIVES AND CITRUS: Apply 1 to 2 gallons per acre in a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre.

BERRIES: Apply 1/2 to 1 gallon in 8 gallons of water per acre.

VEGETABLES AND LEAFY CROPS: Apply 1/2 to 1-1/2 gallons per acre in a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre.

NOTE: For best results use the lowest possible volume for thorough coverage and a small droplet size. Repeat applications may be beneficial.

DRIP IRRIGATION RATES

ALL CROPS: Use 1 to 3 gallons per acre per irrigation. Continue irrigation for a minimum of 2 hours after application to maximize fertilizer distribution.

BUFFER RATES TO LOWER pH: Use 1 pint to 1 quart per 15 to 100 gallons of water in the tank solution.
