Currently we are about -15- days behind with our current orders of fruit tree shipping. Some orders are leaving more quickly, some take a little longer. Let us know if you have an urgent issue and need to have your fruit tree there in a hurry.

    Check Accuweather for updates

If you order a fruit tree or rose bush today, your order is not likely leaving today, unless it is marked urgent. The work of selecting, packing and shipping fruit trees and roses from the many varieties we offer and that the public chooses requires a few days. We can ship many items the same day and within days after your order, but there is usually a several day back log.

We do not process credit cards for payment on plants prior to your approval. During the bare root rose season from October through April most roses bush orders are fairly simple and do not require any adjustments. Rose orders that involve 24", 36", 48" and 60" tree roses are always going to have to have proper shipping costs added to them and sent back to you for your approval. Sometimes that may amount to no more than $10.00 or $15.00, however sometimes it may amount to a lot more.

Fruit trees, the packing and shipping of potted full grown fruit trees is complicated and those complications are what can make your expectations expensive. We are always looking for ways to trim the cost of packing and shipping to you. We have a good rate structure with FedEx and the provide supreme service for ground transport.

Your tree or shrub order will not be charged to a credit card, and payment will not be accepted from checks mailed in, (my assistant is instructed to void all checks mailed in without their Quick Books invoice that has our shipping and packing charges on it) not go anywhere until you approve the cost of packing and shipping it. For some people seeing the cost of doing this work and pay FedEx results in them getting all lathered up in quite a fit, for those people silk plants or twigs with leaves will need to suffice. We take premium plants and pack and ship them, many of them grown right here and a lot more grown by the best nurseries in California and the Nation.

If your plant arrives in poor condition please go right away to the Terms and Conditions Page and follow those procedures outlined there, it will protect your interests and result in a more speedy resolution to any problems.

Tree and Shrub & Other Potted Plant Ordering

Step One; place your order online, or call for a consultation.

Step Two; When you make your order you may simply select the option of paying with a Purchase Order, type Kita into the purchase order number field or enter an American Express credit card number into a secure server, Visa Master Card and Discover customers will get an invoice back for payment.

Step Three: We will email you back an invoice with any seasonal plant charges, such as potted rose prices, packing and shipping expenses. After you get your Quick Books invoice you can then use your Visa, Master Card or Discover card to complete your order process. You may also mail a check.

Step Four; You will get back an invoice confirming payment has been made.

Step Five; Expect that it will be on average at least 10 days before we able to pack and ship your order, it often it may take only a day or two, but because of high order volume or seasonal supply problems it may take longer. If it is a gift then let us know so that we can put your order to the front of the line.

Olive trees for shipment, fruitless low branching. Our special tarps allows the plants to arrive in great shape.
Fruit less Olive trees do have flowers, but those flowers do not develop into fruit. They make excellent trees for contrasting silver foliage. Not exactly David Blain magic work, but "Presto" two very large olive trees are crated and shipped to a business park in the South East.

If you need a single item, like a small rose or cup of ladybugs or if your needs and desires are of much larger investment, I will work hard to fill your order. Yes that tree is boxed ready to go to a new home. Chris
