These orange fruits look like tangerines against the
foliage when ripening. Round to slightly flattened, lobed fruits are
thick-walled, sweet, juicy and delicious eaten fresh. Vigorous, productive
and early maturing. Fruits are 2-3 in. long by 2 1/2-3 1/2 in. wide. Sow
seed indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frosts. Transplant after danger
of frosts into rows 12-18" apart. Needs warm conditions day and night
to germinate, grow and fruit well. Harvesting tips. Pick fruit at peak of
color upon maturity.
